The plan is to take a ferry to Esbjerg and head across to Tranås in Sweden, then north via Stockholm and onwards to Hammerfest. Hammerfest is known to be the most northern mainland town, and is well inside the Artic Circle, quite an unusual destination for a motorcycle trip. After visiting Hammerfest we will then head south, calling in at Santa’s Grotto, again a fantastic and unusual photo opportunity and experience for a biker, certainly something to tell the kids! After visiting Santa the route will take us further south to Helsinki, and a short ferry hop to Tallinn. Then following the southern coast of the Baltic Sea and through Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany and finally back to Esbjerg and the ferry home. You can see a map of the approximate route to get an idea of the route we are planning.

We do need an idea of how many people would like to come with on this challenge. Please remember the challenge is being planned to take place next July/August. This gives you around 9 months to make plans for gathering sponsors etc. It will also give Kieran time to be able to recover from his accident.

The reason we ask for bike details, is so we have any of what bikes will be going which gives us an idea of cruising speeds. We also ask for your approx. fuel range as we have to work to the bike with the shortest range and fuel accordingly.
It is only optional to support a charity, you can just come for the experience, but you must obviously cover your own expenses.
